Outside Guest Requirements for ALA Coastal Prom

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Outside Guest Permission Form Required
    All non-enrolled guests must submit a completed Outside Guest Permission Form before a ticket may be purchased.
  • Arrival Requirement
    Outside guests must arrive at prom with their host student in order to be admitted.
  • Age Restrictions
    Outside guests must be of high school age and no older than 20 years old (or within one year of graduation, per school policy).
  • School Standing Verification
    Guests who attend another high school must provide verification that they are in good standing at their school.
  • Photo Identification Required
    A valid photo ID (school ID or government-issued ID) must be presented at the door.
  • Guest Limit
    Each student may bring one outside guest.
  • Behavior Expectations
    Outside guests are expected to follow all school rules, including dress code, conduct expectations, and substance policies.
  • Ticket Purchase Rules
    Outside guest tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-transferable.
  • Attendance Policy
    Once admitted, re-entry is not permitted unless approved by administration.
  • Dress Code Compliance
    Outside guests must comply with the prom dress code.
  • Deadlines Matter
    No outside guests will be approved after the posted deadline.

I understand the dress code expectation for Prom attendance. (Approved items showcased during fashion show. No denim, no exposed mid-drift, approved dress length, etc.) I acknowledge that all guest(s) must adhere to this expectation.

I have read and understand that both ALA 11th and 12th grade students and their guests are responsible for adhering to the prom Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the event. A copy of the ALA Coastal Conduct & Consequences Matrix can be found HERE.


DAMAGES
PROPERTY DAMAGES

ALOFT property damage policy requires the guest to assume all liability. By purchasing a prom ticket, the student and their parent/guardian acknowledge and agree to assume full financial responsibility for any damage to the venue or its property caused by the student or their guest(s), whether intentional or accidental.

Food and refreshments will be available at the event. Due to the variety of items served, the staff at ALA Coastal, the PTO, and event volunteers cannot guarantee allergen-free options. Students are responsible for managing their own food allergies and medical needs, including having any necessary medications on hand and the ability to self-administer as needed.
