Welcome to the K & 1st grade Under The Sea Small & Tall Ball brought to you by the ALA-Coastal PTO!

This event is for current and active K & 1st Grade NaviGators ONLY. 

 1- Parent/Guardian is REQUIRED to attend with their student for this age group. This guardian oversees their NaviGator for the full duration of the dance. Chaperone is FREE. Student tickets are required to be purchased to attend. 

ONLY 1-guardian is allowed to attend with their student.

We recommend others (with a current background check on file with the school) who are interested in attending, signup to volunteer at the dance. 

 

WHEN: Friday, September 19th 

TIME: 6pm - 7:30pm 

WHERE: ALA-Coastal Gymnasium

A TICKET IS REQUIRED FOR EVERY STUDENT ATTENDING AND TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 

 

  YOUR EMAIL IS YOUR TICKET, PLEASE SAVE IT. 

You will check in your student with one of our volunteers upon your arrival to verify ticket information.

  • For Safety: Only registered PTO volunteers signed up to help at this event (with valid background check ID cards), the 1- guardian, and students are allowed in the gym. 

 

DRESS CODE

———> Dress Code: SEMI-FORMAL: School Dances are not required. As such, if a student does not have proper attire to "dress up" no undue burden is placed on them to purchase dress-up compliant attire. Student may wear school uniform attire to event.

See below for some examples.

Nice jeans, khakis, slacks or knee length shorts and a button-down shirt or a polo, sports coat with nice shirt and slacks. Neck ties or bow ties for optional accessories. If a hoodie is worn, the hood must stay down.

Dress or knee-length skirt and blouse. Sundress with a cardigan, a ruffled skirt with a nice blouse, or a long-sleeved dress with flared skirt and tights if the weather is cold. Dressy jumpsuits, or nice jeans with a dressy blouse. Skirt/Dress slits may be no more than 2 inches above the knee. No spaghetti strap, halter top, one sleeve, sleeveless or backless tops. Tights and/or pantyhose are not a substitution for dress/skirt/short length.

If a layering piece is required to meet dress code standards, please keep in mind it must be worn at all times without exception. The gymnasium can get warm, especially with kiddos dancing.

*** All ALA-Coastal school Modesty dress code standards apply *** If student is not property dressed; they will be denied admittance to the event.
