TICKETS ARE REQUIRED

School dances are brought to you by the ALA-Coastal PTO and are a campus favorite! 

• DJ Sammy Figs will provide the Music!
• In order to host these events, we require the support of family volunteers to cover mandatory areas of the gym for each dance.
• PTO Members receive a discounted ticket rate. 
  
• Tickets are non-refundable 

VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECKS

Background checks take time, so get yours now so you'll be ready! 

• If you have a background check on file, please check the expiration date. Expiration date may be found on your BIB volunteer card you received in the mail or in your Secure Volunteer App. Renewals are 60 days prior to your card expiration date.
  
• If you have lost your card, click the link below to order a new one. Your physical card or card in the App is REQUIRED to be shown at each event that requires a background check.

* The Background check system is run by ALA-Coastal in partnership with Secure Volunteer BIB. The PTO's only role is to verify each volunteer's Secure Volunteer card at applicable event. 

DRESS CODE

SEMI-FORMAL: School Dances are not required. As such, if a student does not have proper attire to "dress up" no undue burden is placed on them to purchase dress-up compliant attire. Student may wear school uniform attire to event.

See below for some examples.

Nice jeans, khakis, slacks or knee length shorts and a button-down shirt or a polo, sports coat with nice shirt and slacks. Neck ties or bow ties for optional accessories. If a hoodie is worn, the hood must stay down.

Dress or knee-length skirt and blouse. Sundress with a cardigan, a ruffled skirt with a nice blouse, or a long-sleeved dress with flared skirt and tights if the weather is cold. Dressy jumpsuits, or nice jeans with a dressy blouse. Skirt/Dress slits may be no more than 2 inches above the knee. No spaghetti strap, halter top, one sleeve, sleeveless or backless tops. Tights and/or pantyhose are not a substitution for dress/skirt/short length.

If a layering piece is required to meet dress code standards, please keep in mind it must be worn at all times without exception. The gymnasium can get warm, especially with kiddos dancing.

*** All ALA-Coastal school Modesty dress code standards apply *** If student is not property dressed, they will be denied admittance to the event.
